4 Maintenance
The points to consider for proper maintenance are:
Clean the outside of the power supply, especially the ventilation holes.
Check that the place where the equipment is installed according to the temperature
and humidity operating equipment
-5ºC ~ +40ºC / 20% ~ 93%
.
Check that there is enough space for proper ventilation.
Check that the equipment is in good condition.
Perform a visual inspection of the contacts of the different outputs.
Change the batteries every 4 years.
5 Outputs
Figure 4: Control circuit outputs scheme
5.1. Fault output:
Maximum charge 0.5 A at 24V.
Dry contact output unsupervised which is activated by any anomaly of the external
power supply and allows integration with other systems.
With the external power supply under fault conditions or unpowered state, the common
contact – Normally Open /NO) relay is short-circuited indicating BREAK DOWN. With
the control unit powered without faults, the Common contact – Normally Open (NO)
relay is electrically open.
5.2. Auxiliary output of 30V:
CPWS2 20~30,5Vdc electricity 0 ~ 1,5 A.
CPWS5 20~30,5Vdc electricity 0 ~ 4 A.
Output supervised and protected by a fuse, which allows the electrical fed of any
element of the fire detection system that needs external power supply.
