Check the microphone
Leave the processor on.
Plug the listening headphones into the
socket at the top of the processor. It is the
smaller of the two sockets under the flap.
You can listen to the quality of sound being
picked up by the microphone (this is not the
same as the signal the CI user is receiving).
Adjust the microphone sensitivity and
volume settings.
If the sound you hear is distorted at normal
sensitivity (12), return the microphone to the CI centre.
Check the coil
Check the cables are correctly connected.

transmitting cable in top socket.
