WX SETUP MODE (USA model only)
From WX Standby:
Push and hold
Setup
key for 3 seconds.
(Enters Setup Mode)
LCD is cleared of all Icons except those relevant to each setup step.
WX ALERT ON / OFF
WX ALERT symbol and "ON" or "OFF" are flashing.
("OFF" is the default setting).
If WX ALERT is set to "ON", turn ON WX ALERT Icon.
Use Channel UP or DOWN keys to change setting.
Push
Setup
Key to save setting and move to the next setup item.
WX ALERT FUNCTION NOTES:
From WX Standby:
1) Once WX Alert is enabled, and on the selected WX channel, the unit will continuously check
the WX channel for the 1050Hz WX Alert tone.
2) When the 1050 Hz WX Alert tone is detected, the radio will sound a 1050 Hz alert tone,
and flash the WX Alert Icon.
