User’s Guide

Battery Installation (Radio)

Talk Button

Press and hold the 

Talk

 button to 

communicate with others. The microphone 
should be about 2 inches from your mouth. 
When talking, speak in normal voice.
Release the 

Talk

 button when you are 

finished talking and listen for a response 
from the other person. You cannot receive 
at the same time while pressing the 

Talk

 

button. 

 NOTE:

 Both radios must be on the 

same channel to communicate.

Power On/Off / Volume Knob

Turn         clockwise to turn the radio on and 
counterclockwise to turn the radio off.

Rotate         clockwise to increase the 
volume.

Rotate         counterclockwise to decrease 
the volume.

Do not hold the radio close to your ear. 

 

If the volume is set to an uncomfortable 
level, it could hurt your ear.

Low Battery Indicator

Low Power: Red LED flashes 
following channel indication. Low 
battery alert tone will be heard 
whenever 

Talk

 button press and 

release. Please reinstall fresh 
alkaline batteries as soon as 
possible. Otherwise, the radio will 
not allow to transmit and auto 
power off eventually.

Power On/Off button

Press the 

Power On/Off

 button to turn on/off the flashlight.  

Battery Installation (Flashlight)

Unscrew the front cap by turning counterclockwise. Insert 3 x AAA alkaline 
batteries into battery holder and position batteries according to polarity markings.
The “               ” arrow on battery holder should face the flashlight head.

To Install or Replace Batteries:
1.

 Remove belt clip by releasing belt clip 

latch and sliding clip up.

2.

 Pull up on the battery door latch to 

remove the battery compartment cover.

3.

 Insert 3 x AAA alkaline batteries per radio 

and position batteries according to 
polarity markings.
