2.3.3 Transport and storage of the hedge trimmer

Always unplug the machine when storing or carrying.

Store your trimmer in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.

For long-term storage, lightly oil the cutter blade.

Fertilizers and other garden chemicals contain agents  which greatly accelerate the

corrosion of metals. Do not store the tool on or adjacent to fertilizers or chemicals.

With the unit unplugged, use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the tool. Never let

any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part of the tool into a liquid.

Do not carry the trimmer when it is not completely off and unplugged.
