Inspect exterior condition of the unit.

Check working gas pressure is correct to figures shown on rating plate.

Check that all burner ports light. Clear any blockages, if any.

Check burner aeration shutters are adjusted to achieve correct flame.

Re-grease gas cocks.

Check for tightness of gas connections.
10 Check for gas leaks.
11 Check the piezo ignition of both pilots functions correctly.
