5.2 Troubleshooting
The problems described below can often be repaired by the user. If there is any doubt, contact
Customer Services.
Motor does not start:
• The power cable is defective or not connected. Check and change if necessary.
• The fuse (RCD) has tripped. If a stronger fuse (RCD) must be installed, consult an electrician.
Motor stops suddenly:
• Loose connections. Check.
• The fuse has tripped. If a stronger fuse (RCD) must be installed, consult a qualified electrician.
Mower vibrates during use:
• Loose parts. Check.
• The blades are damaged. Change blades.
• The motor is loose. Check.
Unsatisfactory cutting results:
• The blades are damaged or dull. Change blades.
• Collector is full. Empty collector.
• The collector is blocked. Check.
• The wrong cutting height has been set. Adjust.
6. Storage
If the mower is to be stored for an extended period, during winter for example, the following steps should
be followed:
1. Clean the mower thoroughly.
2. Inspect the mower for possible damage.
3. Store the mower in a clean and dry environment.
7. Disposal
Dispose of your waste responsibly, sort and recycle where possible. All machines, hoses and
packing material should be sorted and handled according to local environmental regulations.
