9. Maintenance
Mounting and dismounting of blade
• Always use gloves when handling the saw blade, remember before you begin!
• Make sure the contact surfaces on the blade and blade collars are clean
before mounting.
• Use the blade key and fence included.
Further maintenance
• Always unplugg the electrical cable and let the blade come to a full stop before
maintenance work begins. Remember to remove the cable from the socket’s
proximity so no-one can put the plug in the socket.
• Check that the electrical cable, sockets and circuit breaker are in good condition
and undamaged.
• Clean all the log cutter’s parts with a brush or dry cloth.
• Keep the machine in a clean, dry and non-corrosive environment, out of reach
to children.
• Regularly check that all screws and nuts are tightened.
• Clean the small ”gills” in the cradle when necessary, they prevent the blade from
making the tree trunk rotate!
