6.7.3 CAN™ Port (option)
The CAN™ port can be used for CAN compatible field bus communications. Connector X05
can be used for this purpose.

6.7.4 RS232 port (option)
The RS232 port is an optional port usable for development, production or field use:
programming, de-bugging, production test, diagnostics, field visualization, field diagnostics
or monitoring.

Connector X04 on the Airmaster R1 base unit is a sub ‘D’ 9 pin male connector with UNC4-
40 thread fixation. The counterpart must be a female connector. For connection with a PC, a
null modem cable must be used.
A cable length of 3m(10ft) or less is recommended. The absolute maximum length is
10m(33ft). The cable must be global shielded.
