2.5 Indicators and Operation
2.5.1 LED Indicators
2.5.2 FEED Button Operation
When the FEED button is pressed, the printer feeds a row of inserted labels up to the tear-
off position.
If the labels are not fed up to the tear-off position or labels are skipped, carry out a printer
self test.
2.5.3 Printer self test and Calibrating Labels
The printer self test function is used to calibrate labels and to generate a test printout when
used in stand-alone mode.
Procedure • Insert suitable print media. Several rows of labels will be needed for the printer self test.
• Switch on the printer while holding down the FEED button.
• Release the FEED button when the Status LED lights up red after a short time.
The printer now calibrates the labels that have been inserted and subsequently prints out its
internal settings.
