Safety:

The appliance may only be used as described in the following
instructions, other use is not permitted.
•
In case of improper use or not following the safety instructions
any liability is rejected and the guarantee will not apply.
•
The Clifton may only be used by adults. Use under the influence
of alcohol, drugs and/or other drugs, or when not in good mental
and or physical condition is strongly discouraged.
•
The Clifton can get hot during use. Do not touch the hot surfaces,
keep children away from the unit and watch out with flammable
clothing when in use.
•
Do not place flammable materials or liquids in the vicinity of the
gas fire.
•
When in use the appliance must be at least 60 centimetres away
from combustible materials/ objects such as cushions etc.
•
Never leave, during use, the Clifton unattended.
•
In case of severe storm particular attention must be taken against
tilting of the appliance.
•
Never move the Clifton fire place when in use.
•
The Clifton has been developed and certified as a heater and
should only be used as such.
•
Improper use, improper installation, -maintenance or -
modifications can cause damage to your property, personal injury
or even loss of life.
•
Your Clifton is designed for use with propane or butane gas. Use
of natural gas is not possible.
•
The gas cylinder may only be exchanged in well-ventilated spaces,
away from sources of ignition so as candles, cigarettes and other
spark producing devices.
•
The connection to the gas cylinder must be secure. If it turns
loose unexpectedly immediately close the gas cylinder
