Removing the Modem
1.
Turn
off
the computer, remove the battery (
page 2 - 5
), HDD (
page 2 - 6
), component bay cover (
page 2 - 8
), opti-
cal device (
page 2 - 10
), CPU (
page 2 - 10
), bluetooth (
page 2 - 15
) and keyboard (
page 2 - 15
).
2.
Remove screws
-
from the bottom case and
-
from the rear of the computer. Disconnect the LCD &
CCD’s cables
&

Lift up the hinge cover
(
Figure 13b
).
4.
Remove screws
-
from the top case (
Figure 13c
).
5.
Remove screw
and disconnect cables
-
