b. Excessive buildup of scale on
element and in generator.
c. Faulty level control board.
d. Shorted wiring to ground from probe
connections.
e. Probe chamber scaled shut. (See
drawing below)
If this area becomes blocked from scale buildup, false water
levels can be sensed by the electrodes. The generator must be
delimed and cleaned. This is a fairly frequent cause of element
failure.
