4 Tips for planning a steam cabin.
 Don’t install large items, such as seats, steam generators, shower
units, doors, etc. in the room before mounting the roof. Having as
little items in the room as possible makes it easier to manoeuvre the
roof.
 Build the steam inlet at the appropriate height. If the steam inlet is
built to low, the floor can get hot. If the steam inlet is built to high,
the temperature in the lower part of the cabin can be too low.
 For steam generators > 6kW, a barrier has to be made between the
steam inlet and the cabin.
 Only use mechanical ventilation to dry the steam cabin and not
during a steam session.
 Take the temperature and the isolation of the room into
consideration. Some materials feel cold to the touch and need to
be heated to be comfortable to sit, lie or walk on.
 Cleopatra advises to install a service hatch to access the space
above the roof. The hatch makes the installation, maintenance and
service of the optional components in the roof easier (see chapters
10.2-10.6).
