Modify the LCD contrast setting (see paragraph)
Check your telephone line connection
Check your mains power supply connection
Replace the 4 AA alkaline batteries in the unit.
Batteries in the pendant might require replacing
Move closer to unit. Also, when checking the range of
the pendant, if the LED display is weaker or the range
has been reduced, replace the batteries in the pendant.
It is necessary to move closer to the telephone and
speak in the direction of the telephone.
You might have programmed VOICE OFF in the menu.
Change the setting to Voice ON
The speaker volume is too low. Increase the speaker
volume
Check that the caller id service is being provided by
your telephone operator
For the talking caller ID it is necessary to have VOICE
ON in the programming.
Reset the unit by removing the power supply, the
batteries and the telephone line for 20 minutes and
then power on again.
This procedure will not erase any of the numbers in
memory or of the user recorded messages.
