RATCHET INSTALLATION
The main cover is secured to the shelter frame using
ratchets and straps. Two (2) ratchets are attached to each
of the end panel conduits. (These are the pipe or tube
assemblies installed in the bottom pocket of each end
panel.)
The remaining ratchets are evenly spaced and attached to
the rafter legs
immediately across from one another along
the sides of the frame
.
NOTE:
For some shelters, ratchets are attached to each
mid rafter; for other shelters, ratchets are attached to every
other mid rafter.
The main point is to position the ratchets as evenly as
possible along each side of the shelter and immediately
across from one another
.
Ratchet Locations: Ratchets are attached to the outside
of the rafter legs and to the
end panel conduit
as shown
above.
Frame shown may differ in length

Complete these steps to attach the ratchets to the frame:
1. Locate the ratchets and Tek screws used to attach the
ratchets to the frame.
2. Move to the outside of the front end rafter and attach
one (1) ratchet to the frame tube as shown in the
diagram that follows.
Ratchet is attached approximately 10" in from the
center of the end rafter pipe so it is in line with the
strap in the main cover bonnet when the main cover is
installed.
3. Repeat Step 2 to attach the remaining ratchets to the
end frame conduits
.
4. Move to
each end rafter
and attach a ratchet to the side
of the rafter as shown in the next diagram.
NOTE:
All side ratchets are attached to the rafter leg
just above the top of the coupler

ATTENTION:
Each corner of the shelter will resemble
the corner shown in the above insert.
5. Divide, evenly space, and attach the remaining ratchets
along each side of the shelter frame.
6. After attaching all ratchets, verify that the frame is
anchored and that all anchors are tight and install the
main cover.
