RAFTER ASSEMBLY
Assemble the rafters.
Gather the parts:
Rafter pipes (#131S075) 75" swaged
•
Rafter pipes (#131P032) 32" plain
•
Leg pipes (#131P078) 78" plain
•
3-way couplers and 4-way couplers
•
Tek screws and duct tape (customer-supplied)
•
Rafter Assembly Procedure
Assemble a rafter pipe by connecting a 75'' pipe to

a 32'' pipe. Secure the pipe joint using a Tek screw.
Wrap two layers of duct tape over the pipe joint and Tek
screw head.
Locate the 4-way couplers and insert a rafter pipe into

a 4-way coupler as shown in the drawing below.
Assemble the remaining rafter pipes following the

previous step. Refer to the Quick Start Guide to
determine the number of rafter pipes required.
NOTE:
The length of the shelter determines the
number of rafter pipes
Locate the 78'' leg pipes. Mark the leg pipes 4'' from

one end and 6'' from the other end.

NOTE:
Position the Tek screw heads in the rafter pipes
toward the inside of the shelter to prevent damage to
the main cover.
Insert a leg pipe into the 4-way coupler to the 4'' mark

locking screws.
Complete the rafter by connecting the remaining leg

pipe and rafter pipe to the 4-way couplers as shown.
NOTE:
Refer to the Quick Start Guide to determine the
number of interior rafters required.
Assemble the remaining interior rafters following the

previous steps and continue by assembling the end
rafters.
Locate the 3-way couplers and repeat the previous

steps to assemble two (2) end rafters.
