66895 Role Feature
–
Keyset: In-Use-Tally
Allows the station to be configured to have an "In-Use-Tally" per keyset to show voice activity on the
keysets assigned channel. Using this feature the user station provides a visual indication of channel
activity by flashing the Talk key or the Channel name if key brightness is turned down or the channel is on
a lower shift page (HKB only).
66888 Role Feature - Keyset, Program Audio Listen, Main Level: Minimum & Maximum Volume Limits
Minimum and Maximum Volume Limits can now be configured for each Keyset, Program Audio Listen
and Main Level controls per user station. Configuring a minimum listen level defeats the ability to mute a
keyset listen. Volume Limits allow the system to be configured to guarantee that a user cannot turn
something down they must be able to hear or beyond what is suitable for the environment the user
station is installed in.
66885 Role Feature - Keyset: Talk Interlock Group
Keyset Talk keys can now be added to an Interlock Group on HMS, HRM, HKB and HBP/HXII-BP roles.
Once two or more Keyset Talk keys on a user station are members of the stations Interlock Group, the
system will ensure that only the last Talk key engaged is active at any given time. Once the last talk key is
depressed the station will bounce back to a previously latched Talk.
Note: Permanently Latched Talk keys (new feature in this release) that are configured to be members in a
Talk Interlock Group will get unlatched by the last talk key in the group to be engaged.
Note: All Call will override the Talk Interlock Group
66887 Role Feature - Keyset: Secondary Talk Action
Keyset configuration now includes a "Secondary Talk Action" which enables the keyset's Talk key to be
configured to automatically initiate a Call signal on the channel(s) assigned to the keyset. The Secondary
Talk Action can additionally initiate Control Event 1 & 2 on the Channel which can in turn be assigned to
LQ GPO outputs. Using the Secondary Talk Action, user stations can be selectively configured to provide
a visual indication of an important talker or to initiate a transmission on two-way radios as an example.
66886 Role Feature - Keyset: Talk Latch: Permanent
Keyset configuration now includes and additional option for each keysets Talk key which permanently
engages the Talk key. Talk key configured to be permanently latched the Talk key will remain engaged
through system/user-station power cycles, user press on the Talk key and Remote Mic Kill.
Exception from Permanently Latching: Talk keys configured to be permanently latched can only be
unlatched, momentarily, when used within a Talk Interlock Group. Within a Talk Interlock Group the Talk
key last engaged will defeat the permanently latched talk which will again be reengaged when once the
other Talk is disengaged.
Permanent Talk Key latches to enable workflows that utilize switches in the headset or handset such as
HS-6 and PT-7, by applying a permanent talk key latch the user does not need to operate two Talk keys to
be heard.
66889 Role Feature - Loudspeaker Mute
This release adds 4 new operation modes for the HMS, HRM and HKB Loudspeaker Mute control which is
normally engaged by tapping the front panels Main level control.
*
Toggle with Headset Control
is default as the Loudspeaker Mute has operated in previous releases
where the user can toggle the mute control in addition to the station automatically muting the
loudspeaker when a headset is detected and unmuting when a headset is disconnected.
*
Toggle
allows the user to toggle the loudspeaker mute and mutes the speaker upon detecting a
headset yet does not unmute upon headset disconnection.
