Cleaning
CAUTION!

Remove the plug from the mains socket before doing any cleaning.
❐
Danger of scalding! Always switch off the device, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and
allow the device to cool down completely before you clean it or remove accessories.
❐
Danger of scalding! Shortly after use, the
fl
oor cleaning cloth may still be very hot. You should
therefore wait for a few minutes until the cloth has cooled down before you remove it.
❐
Never immerse the main unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the main unit, the mains
cable and the mains plug cannot fall into water or become wet.
❐
Never touch the main unit, the mains cable or the mains plug with wet hands.
❐
Do not use any solvents, aggressive cleaning agents or cleaning pads for cleaning. They could
damage the device.
❐
The nozzles are neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble drying!
Only ever dry them in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so.
• If necessary, wipe down the main unit, handle rod and the handle with a soft, slightly damp cloth
and dry them with a soft cloth.
• Rinse dirty nozzles with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent if necessary. Allow them to
dry in the air.
• The
fl
oor cleaning cloth can be washed in the washing machine. Follow the instructions on the
washing label.
Do not use any fabric softener or bleach!
Storage
CAUTION!

Danger of scalding! Always allow the device to cool down completely before storing it away.

Empty the water reservoir completely before you store away the device.
❐
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong temperature
fl
uctuations, direct
sunlight or moisture.
• Store the device in a frost-free, dry, clean, cool location that is out of the reach of children and
animals.
• Before you use the steam mop again, always check the water reservoir for residual water, and
completely empty it if necessary.
Care
To ensure that your steam cleaner can clean with full force, you should descale the device at regular
intervals (after around 25-50 applications) or if you notice that the device is taking longer to emit
steam.
1. Pour a mixture of one part vinegar and two parts water into the water reservoir.
2. Position the device in such a way that the steam that is emitted does not hit any delicate
fl
oors
or other objects.
