5. Push the end piece of the cleaning foot into the socket for the clean-
ing foot / adapter on the main unit until the locking lug locks in place.
To detach the cleaning foot, press the locking lug on the back of
the cleaning foot (D) and as you do so pull the cleaning foot out.
6. Attach the
fl
oor cleaning cloth to the cleaning foot using the Vel-
cro fasteners.
7. If you want to use the carpet glider, attach it with the
fl
at side to-
wards the
fl
oor and place the cleaning foot into the carpet glider.
Use As Handheld Steam Cleaner
To use the device as a handheld steam cleaner, you must
fi
rst attach the handle with the steam
release button and the adapter to the main unit:
1. Insert the handle with the steam release
button into the upper opening on the
main unit. To detach the handle, press the
locking lug and as you do this pull out
the handle.
2. Push the adapter into the socket for the
cleaning foot / adapter on the main unit
until it is heard to engage in place. To
detach the adapter, press the locking lug
and as you do this pull out the adapter.
