Before Initial Use
1. Remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be on the device and are
used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
Never remove the rating
plate and any possible warnings!
2. Attach the cleaning attachment to the motor unit (see “Attaching / Detaching the
Cleaning Attachment”).
3. Charge up the battery (see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
Attaching / Detaching the Cleaning Attachment

Attaching:
Insert the cleaning attachment (

) into the front of the motor unit (

press both parts together. When you do this, make sure that the locking lugs of the
cleaning attachment sit in the corresponding recesses of the motor unit.
• Detaching:
Place down the device with the cleaning at-
tachment on a stable surface and
fi
x it with one hand. Le-
ver the motor unit out of the cleaning attachment.
