Safety notes
■
This device may be used by
children
ages 8 and over as well
as persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities
or those lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device
and have understood the risks associated with operating the
device.

Children
must not play with the device.

Cleaning and
user maintenance
must not be performed by un-
supervised
children

■
Keep children under 8 years of age and animals away from the
device and the connection line! Improper use may result in inju-
ry and electrical shock.
■
If the device is not supervised, before assembling, disassem-
bling or cleaning the device, it must always be disconnected
from the power supply.

If the device, the connection line or the device plug is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or
by a similarly quali

ed person (e.g. quali

ed workshop) to avoid
any risks.
Risks of injury
■
Children and animals must be kept away from the device and packaging material.
There is a danger of injury and suffocation!

Keep animals, hair, jewellery, loose-

tting clothing,

ngers and all other body parts
away from the suction opening of the device. They could be caught in the vacuum
cleaner. If the device attaches itself when vacuuming, immediately turn it off.

Be especially careful when vacuuming stairs to prevent falling.
■
Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping hazard.
■
Do not use the device if it is damaged.
Danger of electrocution
■
Only use and store the device in enclosed areas. Do not operate the device in rooms
with high humidity.
■
If you use the device as a handheld vacuum cleaner for cleaning the inside of a car,
make sure that it is not exposed to rain or moisture.
■
Never touch the device, the mains cord or the mains plug with wet hands.
■
Do not

ll the dust bin with liquids. Keep the motor unit, mains cord and the mains
plug away from moisture or wetness!
