2. Insert the battery into the charging station. The three con-
tacts of the battery must rest on the three contacts (

) of
the charging station.
3. First plug the barrel connector on the cable of the mains
adapter (

) into the socket (

) of the charging station and
then connect the mains adapter to the plug socket.
4. The green operating lamp (
b
) and the red charge control
lamp (
d
) will light up. The battery is being charged.
5. When only the green operating lamp is still lit, the battery
is fully charged.
6. First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then disconnect the
barrel connector from the charging station.
7. Remove the battery from the charging station.
Assembly
Attaching / Removing Nozzles
With the exception of the electrical
fl
oor nozzle (

), all nozzles are attached with the aid
of the nozzle adapter (

).
• Plug the nozzle adapter into the suction opening (

) or the articulated suction tube.
Plug the nozzle you want onto the nozzle adapter.
• To take them apart, pull the nozzle and the adapter apart.
Attaching / Removing the Floor Nozzle and Articulated Suction Tube
No adapter is required for the electrical
fl
oor nozzle (

) and the articulated suction tube.
• They are plugged directly onto the suction opening (

). The catches must be heard
to engage in place. Attach the electrical
fl
oor nozzle to the articulated suction tube
in the same way.
• To detach it, press the release button and pull the electri-
cal
fl
oor nozzle or the articulated suction tube out at the
same time.
Removing / Inserting the Dust Container

Removing:
Twist the dust container (

) a little bit. It is re-
leased from the main unit (

) and can be removed.
•
Inserting:
Insert the dust container into the main unit. Ro-
tate it slightly as you do this until it engages in the main unit
correctly. Then twist the dust container in the main unit to
secure it in place. The release button of the dust container
must be located below the suction opening (

) after it has
been attached.
