Headband adjustment
1. Height adjustment for headband:
Adjust the headband height so, that the band part circulating the
head is positioned relatively low. This way welding hood stays well on the head. The padding should
be a little above the eyebrows. Height can be adjusted from the top of the head gear.
2. Tension adjustment of head harness:
Adjust the band tightness by rotating the adjusting wheel
positioned in the back of the band.
Safety visor exchange
Press the safety visor in the middle in the outside direction and than remove it. Place the new visor into
the slots on the one side of the frame and than to the other.
Welding filter exchange
For exchange of the welding filter or safety foils make following:
1. Lift up the welding shield.
2. Release glass-retaining spring by bending it with fingers off from the plastic clip.
3. Remove old welding filter or protective foils.
4. Mount new welding filter or protective foils.
5. Press glass-retaining spring underneath the plastic pin.
6. Check, whether auto-darkening filter or protective foils are firmly in place!
Depending on head part you purchased, use the compatible original welding filters with dimensions of
110x60 mm and 110x90 mm.
Headband change
1. Release the headband which is fixed by five screws: two on the both hard hat holders and one in the
adjusting wheel.
2. Remove the headband out of the hood.
3. Place the new headband into the hood and fix it by screws.
4. Tighten the screws carefully.
Sweatband change
Remove the old sweatband. Place the new sweatband on the same place, fold and fix using the velcro.
Hard hat assembly
For hard hat removal press the flexible upper side of the hard hat holder and release the hard hat on this
side. Apply the same procedure on the other side to release the hard hat. For hard hat mounting place the
hard hat above the holders and press the hard hat down.
4. Storage and shelf life
Store the welding hood in a dry and clean place at room temperature, avoid direct sunlight (temperature
range from -10 °C to +50 °C). Product should be put out of the use after 5 years from first use even though
any signs of damage does not appear.
