4.1 Controls

All commercial fan heaters are supplied with a remote

switch  that  provides  the  following  functions:  On/Off,

Fan, Fan Boost, and Heat.

CH06CSi/CPi:

The unit is designed to provide 2 levels of heat

CH09i/12i/15i:

The unit is designed to provide 3 levels of heat.

The remote control box houses 4 single pole switches

to give the functions listed below figure 4.

Con-

trolling Multiple Heaters

One control unit can control up to 10 heaters, and

can control a combination of models.

When  controlling  more  than  one  heater  via  one

controller,

connections to the terminals 2, 3, 4 & 5

must  be  connected  via  isolator  switch.

  In  the

master heater the 3A fuse (near terminal 4) protecting

wiring of the switch circuit must be replaced by a fuse

with  suitable  rating.  For  controlling  up  to  2  heaters

–

3A

, up to  4 heaters

– 5A

, up to 10 heaters -

13A

For more connection details see figures 5 and 6 for

the CH06CSi and CH06CPi/CH09i/12i/15i models

respectively. The wiring diagram for controlling multi-

ple heaters is located on page 10.
