LCD instructions
1. Main display which shows the present
reading or the last reading.
2. Data hold indicator which appears when
the reading on the main display is locked.
3. Measurement indicator which appears
and fl ashes when the thermometer is making
measurement.
4. Emissivity display which shows the present
emissivity setting value. ( Tip: The symbol "€"
means" Emissivity ".)
5. Backlight indicator which appears when
the backlight is on.
6. Temperature unit which applies to bath the
main display and the bottom display.
7. Symbols used to indicate what kind of value is being displayed on the bottom display; for example, if the symbol
" MAX" appears, it means that the value on the bottom display is maximum value.
8. Bottom display used to display maximum (MAX), minimum (MIN), difference (DIF), average (AVG), high alarm
value (HAL) and low alarm value (LAL).
9. " Hl " is high alarm icon, and "LOW " is low alarm icon.
10. Low battery indicator. Replace the battery immediately when this low battery indicator appears.
11. Laser function indicator which appears when the laser function is enabled. When this indicator appears, the
laser pointer will emit laser beam if you pull the trigger.

Used to change temperature value(s)
from celsius value(s) to fahrenheit
value(s).
When setting emissivity (E), high
alarm value (HAL), or low alarm value
(LAL), press this button to increase the
value to be set
Button 2
Press this button to turn on or off the
backlight
To enable or disable the laser
function, press this button while
pulling and holding the trigger. Then
the laser function is enabled, the
symbol ( ) appears.
