Safety

•  The product must only be used to charge NiMH rechargeable batteries. 

Attempts to charge other types of batteries can lead to personal 
injury or damage to the product.

•  Do not expose the product to rain or humidity; it is only designed 

for indoor use. 

•  Disconnect the product from the mains when it is not in use.
•  Never use the product with an extension lead. Never connect 

the product in any way which is not recommended by the manufacturer 
or retailer. Connecting the product in any way other than directly 
into a wall socket can result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.

•  Do not use the product if it has been subjected to impacts or is 

damaged in any way. Have the product repaired by a qualified 
electrician.

•  Never try to dismantle the product. Incorrect assembly of the product 

can lead to electric shock or fire.

•  Always unplug the product from the wall socket before cleaning 

and maintenance.

•  Remove the batteries from the product before disposing of it. 

The batteries must be disposed of separately.

•  The product may be used by children of 8 years and above and 

by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or 
lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been given 
supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe 
way and understand the hazards involved.

•  Never let children play with the product.
•  Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children 

without supervision.

Operating instructions

Warning:

Only 

rechargeable NiMH batteries are to be charged in the charger.

•  The batteries can start to leak or explode resulting in personal injury 

if they are inserted into the charger incorrectly, mixed with different 
types of batteries, short-circuited or thrown into a fire.

1.  Observe the polarity markings on the bottom of the battery 

compartment and insert 1–4 AA/AAA batteries into the charger (it is 
possible to charge AA and AAA batteries at the same time).

2.  Remove the protective plastic from the display and plug the charger 

into a wall socket. The display will then show the following:

The battery is inserted incorrectly or is defective

The battery is fully charged

Care and maintenance

•  Always unplug the product from the wall socket before cleaning 

and maintenance.

•  Clean the product by wiping it with a dry cloth.
•  Unplug the product from the wall socket when it is not in use.

This symbol indicates that this product should not be 
disposed of with general household waste. This applies 
throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent any harm to 
the environment or health hazards caused by incorrect 
waste disposal, the product must be handed in for 
recycling so that the material can be disposed of in 
a responsible manner. When recycling your product,  
take it to your local collection facility or contact the place 
of purchase. They will ensure that the product is disposed 
of in an environmentally sound manner.
