• If the unit was in standby mode when you started to do the settings, step 11 is not
necessary. The unit turns off automatically.
• The wake-up timer repeats daily.
• To cancel the wake-up timer, press [ TIMER ]. The symbol disappears from the display.
• If iPod/iPhone, USB memory stick or CD is chosen as an audio source for
the wake-up timer and if none of these is connected/loaded, the unit uses radio as
the audio source.
Sleep timer
1. Press [ SLEEP ] repeatedly and choose the sleep time you want:

30
or

minutes. The display shows a “sleep symbol”.
2. To disable the sleep timer, press [ SLEEP ] repeatedly and choose
OFF
.
Care and maintenance
• If the unit is to be unused for a long period, unplug it from the wall socket and
remove the batteries from the remote control.
• Never touch the laser in the CD player. Remove any dust by blowing.
• Clean the outside of the unit with a slightly damp cloth. Never use strong cleaning
agents or solvents.
Troubleshooting guide
• The unit does not work/
cannot be controlled with
the remote control.
• The appearance of
the display is not normal.
Switch off the unit and unplug the power adaptor
from the wall socket.
Plug the power adaptor into the wall socket again.
• The remote control does
not control the unit.
Replace the batteries in the remote control.
Aim the remote control directly at the unit.
Max angle 15º, max distance 7 metres.
