Summer and winter time
The alarm clock is pre-programmed to automatically change
from summer to winter time and vice-versa.
Signal strength
The signal strength icon displays 3 levels. A flashing icon
means that the signal is being received. Signal quality is
indicated as follows:
If you find yourself out of the radio signal’s range you can
also set the time manually. As soon as the clock is within
range again it will begin reception and synchronise the time.
1. In the normal time mode (a), depress [MODE] for 3
seconds until the display begins to flash.
2. The preset language (b) is German. There are 4
available languages: DE=German, GB=English,
FR=French, NL=Dutch.
3. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select the language.
4. Press [MODE] until the next digit begins to flash.
5. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to reset the seconds (c).
6. Press [MODE] again to switch between the settings.

7. Press [UP] to increase the value or [DOWN] to decrease
the value.
8. If your local time is different than the transmitted time
signal you can correct this by setting the time zone
setting. The preset value is “00”, which means the time
shown will be exactly as the time signal transmitted.
Press [UP] to increase the value or [DOWN] to decrease
the value. You can adjust the time from -13 hours up to
+10 hours.
9. Press [MODE] to confirm settings and leave the
settings mode.
10. If you do not press a button within 30 seconds the clock
will automatically return to normal time mode.
Alarm
Setting the alarm
1. In normal time mode, press [MODE] to reach the alarm
mode.
2. Depress [MODE] for 3 seconds until the hour display
begins to flash.
3. Press [UP] to increase the value or [DOWN] to decrease
the value.
4. Use the same procedure to set the minutes.
5. Press [MODE] to confirm settings and leave the settings
mode.
6. If you do not press a button within 30 seconds the clock
will automatically return to normal time mode.
N.B. The alarm is automatically activated once you set
the alarm time.

activated. To activate or deactivate the alarm press [ALARM].
Alarm and snooze
1. Set the alarm according to the above.
2. The alarm will sound for 2 minutes with increasing intensity
if not shut off. The backlight is illuminated for 5 seconds.
3. Activate the snooze function by pressing [ALARM] so
that “Zz” is shown on the display.
4. To deactivate the alarm and snooze function, press
[ALARM] until both icons disappear.
Snooze
- When the alarm sounds, press [SNOOZE/LIGHT] to
temporarily turn off the alarm and to continue with the
snooze function. Push [ALARM] to deactivate the alarm.
- When the snooze function is activated the alarm will
sound again after 4 minutes for a maximum of 5 times.
After this the alarm will not sound again until the next
day/programmed time.
Care and Maintenance
Wipe the clock with a soft cloth when needed, and moisten
it with water adding a mild detergent to clean it. Avoid using
abrasive cleaning agents and solvents.

The unit is programmed to receive the time signal every day
at 2 am, 8 am, 2 pm, and 8 pm. The maximum reception
time is 12 minutes. If there is a disturbance in the reception
that lasts for 3 minutes the clock will abandon trying to find
a signal and will resume at the next programmed signal
reception time.
You can use the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to manually start
signal reception. Use this function sparingly as it quickly
uses up the batteries.
