Safety
• Make sure that there is no damage to the mains lead or other parts upon delivery.
• The heater will become very hot during and after use. Never touch the heater until
it has cooled sufficiently.
• Do not use this appliance in immediate surroundings of a bath tub, a shower or
a swimming pool.
• The minimum allowable distance between the closest object and the heater is 1 metre.
• Never leave children alone with the heater.
•
If the mains lead is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• This patio heater is approved for both indoor and outdoor use (IP24). Never place
the patio heater outdoors during rain and always store it indoors when not in use.
• Never cover the heater.
• Make sure that foreign objects do not come into contact with the heating element
since this may cause short circuiting, electric shock, or a fire hazard.
• The product must never be used with a timer or other equipment which
automatically turns on the patio heater.
• Always unplug the heater when it is not being used.
• Never position the heater so that the mains lead comes in front of the heat vents or
the heating element.
• Allow the heater to cool down completely before moving or storing it.
Care and maintenance
Make sure the heater is off, pull out the plug and let it cool.
• Use a dry cloth to wipe off any dust or debris from the heater housing.
• Never use water, wax, polish, solvents or other chemical solutions for
cleaning purposes.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
