Activating/deactivating the temperature alarm
1. Activate the temperature alarm by pressing ALERT when all the settings have been made.
2. To stop the alarm sounding once it has been triggered, press ALERT. The arrow
will continue to flash to indicate that the temperature is outside your limits.
3. The alarm will sound once more if the temperature exceeds your limits again.
4. To completely deactivate the alarm, press ALERT until the symbol is no longer displayed.
Clock, calendar, rainfall history and total rainfall
• Press MODE to change between display of time, rainfall history and total rainfall.
• The rainfall data is accumulated since the gauge was last reset. Press CLEAR to
remove the rainfall reading when it appears on the display.
Rainfall history
The main unit can store and display the following information:
• Rainfall during the past hour.
• Rainfall during the past 24 hours.
• Daily rainfall (up to 6 days).
• Weekly rainfall (up to 6 weeks including current week).
• Monthly rainfall (up to 6 months including current month).
To view the rainfall for a particular period
1. Press HISTORY to view the weekly rainfall.
2. Press it again to view the monthly rainfall.
3. Press it again to view the rainfall during the past hour (appears for 5 seconds).
4. Press it again to view the rainfall during the past 24 hours (appears for 5 seconds).
5. Press it again to return to daily display.
Maximum and minimum recorded readings
It is possible to view the maximum and minimum recorded rainfall and temperature.
1. Press MAX/MIN to alternate between the two values.
2. Press CLEAR to delete an existing value.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the product using a dry cloth when necessary. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or solvents.
