• Never immerse the lead, plug, bottom plate or kettle in water
or other liquid. Doing so may increase the risk for electric shock.
• Children who are close by when the kettle is used must be
supervised at all times.
• Certain parts of the kettle become hot during use, only touch
the handle.
• Never use the kettle if it is damaged or does not work normally.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the kettle
if the mains lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by the manufacturer, authorised service facility or
a qualified tradesman.
• The kettle is designed for indoor use only.
• The kettle should only be used as described in this instruction
manual.
• The kettle may only be used with the supplied bottom plate.
• When filling with water, do not exceed the maximum mark.
If more water is filled, hot water may be expelled when heating.

Make sure that the kettle is on a stable, flat surface
before it is turned on.

Make sure that the mains lead, plug and the electrical
connectors on the bottom plate and the kettle are clean,
intact and dry before the kettle is turned on.

Never fill the kettle with water when it is positioned
on the bottom plate. Lift the jug and fill carefully with water.
Make sure that the bottom plate and the kettle’s housing are
both completely dry before the kettle is placed on the bottom
plate and is turned on.
• Never fill with water when the kettle is switched on.
• Never use the kettle near an open fire or hot surfaces.
• Clean the kettle with a lightly moistened cloth. Never use
solvents or corrosive cleaning products. Use a mild cleaning
agent.
