Troubleshooting
No picture or sound is transmitted to the monitor.
• Check that both camera and monitor are turned on.
• If the AC/DC adaptors are being used make sure that the connectors
are properly connected.
• Check the batteries and switch if necessary.
• Check that the same channel is used on both camera and monitor.
Bad Picture
• Check that the same channel is used on both camera and monitor.
• Move the camera and receiver closer to each other and away from possible sources
of interference such as microwave ovens.
• If the channel indicator is on but no picture is being displayed, the VOX function may
be activated on the monitor. Press the VOX button once to turn off the function.
Safety
• Never let children use the product or its accessories.
• Avoid touching the lens with fingers. Fingerprints or dirt on the lens causes bad picture.
• Never expose the camera or the monitor for moist or high humidity. The moist causes
damage on the product’s electric components.
• Never leave the product in dusty or dirty environments.
• Do not store the product in very hot environments. High temperatures can shorten
the components length of operation and possibly damage the casing.
• Do not store the product in very cold environments. When the product is brought from
colder to normal room temperatures condensation can appear and damage the product’s
electric components.
• Avoid dropping the product or expose it to heavy bumps etc.
• Use only the included or recommended AC/DC adaptor.
• Never open the product or the accessories.
• Always shut off the camera and monitor when not in use.
• Always remove the AC/DC adaptors when the camera and monitor are not being used.
• Remember that the camera’s frequency range is shared with other users. Interferences
may therefore appear from nearby equipment. Also consider that others can receive
what is transmitted between the camera and the monitor.
Care and maintenance
• Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the product. Never use solvents or strong detergents.
• Blow away possible dust from the lens with compressed air or use a soft and dry cloth
to clean the lens.
