ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS FOR HOT AIR GUNS

1.

Do not use the tool if the electric cable, plug or the motor, is in poor condition.

2.

Keep the mains cable well away from the gun, particularly if laying it down
temporarily during an operation - use a rest.

3.

Always ensure an adequate electrical supply is close at hand so that the
operation is not restricted by the length of the cable.

4.

NEVER point the gun at any person or animal.

5.

When finished with, take great care to place the tool where it cannot cause
damage to property or other equipment, and cannot be accidentally touched
by persons in the area. Wherever possible, stand upright to cool.

6.

NEVER use in an inflammable atmosphere, eg., where petrol vapours etc.
are present.

7.

Be aware that heat generated by the gun could cause materials in the vicinity
of the operation to ignite - particularly in confined spaces. Take all necessary
precautions - have a fire extinguisher, or means to extinguish a fire, to hand.

8.

DO NOT touch the nozzle and ALWAYS wear safety gloves.

9.

NEVER use the gun as a hair dryer.

10. Switch the machine OFF immediately the task is completed and allow it to
