LOWERING THE BICYCLE

1. Pull the rope towards the rear pulley in the direction shown as “unlock” to 

release the locking mechanism as shown in Fig 6, while maintaining tension 
on the rope.

• The tension will keep the locking mechanism open and allow the 

bicycle to lower.

2. Slowly let the rope out as the bicycle lowers. Once the bicycle is lowered, 

remove it from the hooks and tie the rope back to the cleat.

3. When lowering a load, be aware that when the rope is released, the load 

will not stop unless the locking device is engaged.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

Before use, it is recommended to carry out the following checks. When in 
constant use, the system should be inspected more frequently.

1. Check the security and condition of the mounting point.

2. Check the condition of the hooks and the security of all screws. 

NOTE: 

the nuts and bolts must still have enough freedom to move.

3. Check the condition of the rope and that it is not chaffed or fraying.
