General safety and accident prevention
regulations

– In addition to this manual, you must also observe

the machine's user manual.

– Observe all general safety and accident preven-

tion advice.

– If driving on the public highway, observe regula-

tions in force!

– The technician's clothing must be tight-fitting.

Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothing!

– Keep the machine clean to prevent fire risks!

– To perform work under the raised machine, you

must make sure that the equipment used is safe
and correctly positioned.

– Refit protective devices after maintenance and

servicing work!

Leaving the machine

• Secure the machine before stepping out of it, to

prevent any risk of movement (jack stand, parking
brake, chocks). Switch off the tractor engine,
remove the ignition key and possibly lock the cab!

• If the machine is to be out of service for some

time, unhitch the machine from the tractor.

• Never leave the machine unmonitored while the

tractor engine is running!

Adjustment and maintenance work

Due to their function, the machine drives are not auto-
matically protected after the tractor engine has been
switched off.

During setting work, it may be necessary to turn the
machine drives.

So the following rules must be observed:

• Before setting, cleaning and maintenance work, or

before resolving operating faults:

- Put all the machine's equipment in the rest

position.

- Reduce the tractor's hydraulic pressure to zero.

- Switch off the engine, remove the ignition key

and apply the tractor's handbrake.

- Wait until all the machine's moving components

have completely stopped.

- Place chocks under the wheels of the machine,

and apply the parking brake if one is fitted.

• When working on the electric circuit, systemati-

cally disconnect the tractor's supply cable.

• Ensure that nobody can start the tractor or turn

the drives.
