Frequent Questions

1.

Threshing won’t engage and none of the hydraulics are working.

Check that the road travel safety switch is not engaged.

2.

Threshing has engaged but the engine will not rev up to full throttle when the
engine speed dial is turned.

Check that the combine is not in 2

nd

gear.

3.

Getting a poor sample in Oilseed Rape.

Check that the preparation floor is clean.

4.

The machine will not change gear.

Make sure that the multifunction lever is in its neutral position and both the
footbrake pedals are applied, then the gear selection rocker switch can be
activate to select correct gear.

5.

The machine goes off course when Autopilot is engaged.

Make sure that the LASER PILOT is set up correctly. The set up procedure can
be found the relevant section of the Operators Manual.

6.

I cannot get the Air Conditioning to work properly.

Section 13.4.1of the Operators Manual.

7.

The machine is running out of horsepower.

Make sure that threshing segment is removed from the main concave and
that the crop is not being over threshed.

When chopping check that the fine chop step is not engaged and the
stationary knives are backed off.

If these simple solutions do not cure the problems please contact the service
