• The device is intended to provide physicians with tools for electromagnetic
tracking of instruments with respect to pre-acquired or real-time image data.
Device is not intended for use in MR scanning.
• In the U.S.A., federal law restricts device to sale or use by or on order of a physician.
• Prior to use inspect device for signs of damage, if damage is evident do not use.
• Prior to use ensure general purpose sensor is tracking properly.
• Reusable components are packaged non-sterile and are single-patient use only.
• To avoid possible position distortion keep general purpose sensor away from metal.
• Ensure device is securely attached, failure to do so could result in inaccuracy.
I. Attaching General Purpose Sensor to Patient Tracker
• Ensure device is secure on patient prior to use.
• Ensure general purpose sensor is securely attached to the patient tracker.
1. Remove adhesive liners and position patient tracker onto patient's skin.
2. Mark device location on patient's skin using patient tracker marking locations.
3. Place general purpose sensor onto sensor mount area.
4. Rotate general purpose sensor into patient tracker to secure.
II. Disposal
• When patient tracker can no longer be securely attached to patient or becomes
contaminated, dispose as infectious waste.
III. Cleaning, Disinfecting and Sterilizing General Purpose
Sensor
• Refer to general purpose sensor instruction for reprocessing.
