Chapter 5 Troubleshooting Guide
If the GUS
System is not running, check the following:
1. Ensure that the unit is plugged into a live wall outlet.
2. Make sure the red On/Off switch is on. The switch should be illuminated when on.
3. In the event that the system is still not working, you will need to check the fuse, which is
located next to the On/Off switch.
4. Disconnect the plug from wall outlet and remove the fuse. Check to see if the filament is
damaged. If so, replace with a standard 5x20 1.0A fuse.

Limited Warranty
CIVCO Medical Solutions warrants the G14SD Vapor Management System to be free of defects in
material and workmanship under normal use, for a period of one year from the date of delivery. This
warranty does not cover filters.
If the system is not working correctly or is defective, contact CIVCO Medical Solutions and we will repair
or replace the unit at our option during the warranty period.
CIVCO Medical Solutions assumes no liability for consequential damages of any kind as a result of the
use or misuse of the system by the purchaser, the purchaser’s employees, or any others.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, guarantees, obligations or other liabilities,
expressed or implied.
This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
Items not covered by this warranty:
Conditions and damages resulting from any of the following:
•
Improper installation, delivery within the facility, or maintenance
•
Any repair, modification, alteration or adjustment not authorized by the manufacturer
•
Misuse, abuse, accidents or unreasonable use
•
Incorrect electric current, voltage or supply
•
Failure to follow proper procedures for use outlined in this manual
•
Filters
•
Consequential or incidental damages sustained by any person as a result of any breach of
these warranties.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so the above
exclusion may not apply.
