If the clock becomes excessively stained, use a soft cloth 

moistened with a small amount of water-diluted mild detergent 

or soap and water to wipe stains off the clock, and then wipe it 

with a dry cloth.

Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol or spray cleaner to remove 

stains from the case and other parts.

Maintenance 

Removal and mounting of the seat
Pull the seat to remove it.

If it is difficult to remove the seat by 
pulling, use a tool such as a screwdriver 
to remove it, but be very careful not to 
scratch it.

Press in the seat to mount it.

• At a temperature of 0

display reaction may become slower or the display blurred. At a temperature

Remove the rear cover.

Insert a battery.

Insert an AAA battery by matching the 
battery’s electrodes to the indications

Remove the insulating material

Press the reset button.

After inserting the battery, be sure to press 
the reset button to prevent a malfunction. 
In the city selected, the time is set to 12:00 
AM and the alarm time is set to 6:00 AM.

The sounding alarm shuts off automatically after 2 minutes.

Test of sounding the alarm (using the monitor button) 

       

Pressing the monitor button sounds the alarm for 2 minutes.
Pressing the monitor button during the alarm shuts off the 
sound.

Since there is a temperature sensor inside the clock, it takes some 
time to display the ambient temperature around the clock.

Conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit

Pressing the conversion button converts the temperature indication from Celsius to 
Fahrenheit or vice versa.

•If any indications become blurred or disappear, remove the 

battery and replace it with a new one.

•When left standing for a long time, liquid may leak from the 

battery and cause malfunction or stain furniture or other articles.

•Keep small parts and batteries out of the reach of children. In the 

unlikely event that a child swallows a part or battery, seek 
immediate medical attention.

The clock displays the time of one city among 16 international cities.
Once the time of a specific city is set, the times of other cities 
are set based on standard time differences.

The clock displays the ambient temperature around the clock.
Temperatures can be displayed either in degrees centigrade or 
Fahrenheit

Note: Daylight saving time

Since this clock is not provided for daylight savings time, set the 
clock in standard time.
If the time is set based on the local time in a city that adopts 
daylight savings time, the times of other cities are affected.
