External Storage
Devices

A 16 GB USB 2.0 drive (if ordered) comes as a separate item in the
shipping box and contains preloaded drivers and utilities. You can move
the 16 GB drive from one server to another an using external USB 2.0
connector in order to install the drivers and utilities onto multiple
servers.

Power subsystem
One or two power supplies, depending on server configuration and loading.
Power supplies available are 450 W or 650 W (no mixing). With two power
supplies, 1 + 1 redundancy is provided if the load can be carried with one
supply. Prior to making a power supply selection, the UCS Power Calculator
should be run to determine the right size power supply for your server

Integrated management
processor
Cisco Integrated Management Controller (CIMC).
Depending on your CIMC settings, the CIMC can be accessed through the 1-Gb
Ethernet dedicated management port, the 1-Gb Ethernet LOM ports, or a
Cisco 1225 virtual interface card.

1. NCSI = network communications services interface protocol. The slot stays active when the server is in standby
