Test the PSTN by using a cell phone to place a call to a Cisco Unified IP phone that is
connected to this Cisco Unified 500 Series.
Step 5
Test the AA and voice mail by using a cell phone to place a call to an unattended
Cisco Unified IP phone that is connected to this Cisco Unified 500 Series.
a.
Listen for the AA greeting.
b.
Press the extension number for the target phone and listen for the voice-mail greeting.
c.
Leave a test message.
d.
Go to the phone that you called. Verify that the [Message] indicator is lit.
e.
Press the [Message] button on a phone and retrieve the voice-mail message.
Step 6
If appropriate, repeat the previous steps using devices connected to the Cisco Catalyst
Express 520.
