At the node or Prisma II chassis, the reverse transmitter converts one or more RF
signal(s) to an optical signal using an installed OPM, and transmits the signal to the
headend or hub via fiber optic cable.
When this optical signal reaches the headend or hub, the reverse optical receiver
converts the signal to an RF signal and then routes the signal to the receiver's RF
output using its installed OPM.
