Checking the Configuration

Using the show diag Command
Display the types of port adapters installed in your system (and specific information about each) using
the show diag slot command, where slot is the port adapter slot in Cisco 7200 series routers,
Cisco 7200 VXR routers, and Cisco 7401ASR routers, and the interface processor slot in a
Cisco 7500 series router.
Note

Following is an example of the show diag slot command that shows a PA-VXC-2TE1 in port adapter slot
