Step 2
Push the power supply into the power supply bay until the faceplate is flush with
the cover.
Note
In a nonredundant configuration, install the power supply in
the left power supply bay.
Step 3
Tighten the captive installation screw by turning it clockwise.

section on page 3-2.

Install proper grounding to avoid damage from lightning and
power surges.
Connecting the AC Power Supply
To connect power to an AC power supply, follow these steps:
Step 1
Plug a power cord into the power cord connection of one AC power supply. (See
Figure 2-5.)
