Attach the SRWpower LE to your recording system in the same way a battery would be
attached. Therefore, press the release knob at the side of the battery plate and slide the V-
mount receptacle of the SRWpower LE into the V-mount plate of your appliance, then
release the knob. Doublecheck if the V-mount connection is locked properly.
It is possible to run the SRWpower LE mechanically separate from the recorder by using
appropriate V-mount cable adaptors, or by ordering the option 01 upfront.

Before disconnecting the SRWpower LE from your appliance, please make sure that it
is switched off and disconnected from mains.

Disregarding this advice may lead to burnt V-mount contacts and may destroy the
SRWpower or your appliance.

Avoid transportation of your appliance with the SRWpower LE and/or battery attached.

The mechanical inertia of the attached device can damage the V-mount and/or the
appliance.

Please store the system in a safe place when not in use.

The SRWpower LE has a considerable weight and could cause severe injuries when it drops.

Do not cover the unit! Covering the SRWpower LE during operation can cause a fire
hazard and will destroy the unit!

Always keep it in the coolest place available when running. This will extend the unit’

s lifetime.

We can detect massive overheating incidents related to covering the SRWpower LE. In such
a case, the warranty will void.

Operate the SRWpower LE upright whenever possible.

This will insure best air flow and will keep the appliance temperature low.

Please note the power derating chart in the technical specification!

The SRWpower LE might become warm even when running under room temperature. This is
a normal behaviour and does not indicate a defect. Although, under normal conditions, the
surface temperature should not exceed about 55°C. Please remove load if the device
temperature exceeds 55°C.
