5. Carefully slide the anode (+) connector off the front of the lamp.
6. Hold the lamp from the cathode (-) end and carefully unscrew the lamp from the cathode
connector while supporting the anode end.
7. Remove the lamp by carefully guiding it through the reflector.
8. Immediately place the lamp inside the protective cover, or original packaging and place it in a
location where it cannot fall or get bumped.
Installing the lamp
Caution! Failure to comply with the following could result in minor or moderate injury.
•
EXPLOSION HAZARD! Handle a lamp by the cathode and anode end shafts only. Do not handle
the lamp by the glass.
•
EXPLOSION HAZARD! Do not stress the glass of a lamp or bare bulb in any way.
•
EXPLOSION HAZARD! Do not over-tighten the lamp.
1. Shut down the projector (on page 22).
2. Remove the new lamp from the protective case.
Before removing the lamp from the case, loosen the cathode (-) screw and remove the
cathode nut from the lamp.
3. If installing a lamp different than what was removed, use the table below to determine the
correct position of the anode yoke assembly:
