The Opt3 port provides redundancy for the Opt1 connection, and Opt4 provides
redundancy for Opt2.
3. Connect the fiber optic cables between the two fiber optic extenders.
4. Plug an Ethernet cable into the last extender in the chain, and connect it to the first panel in
the array.
5. Plug the fiber extender power cables into a wall socket.
6. Power on all the components in the tile configuration.
Powering on the array
Turn on each component in the array in the order below.
1. Start the computer that is the video source.
2. Turn on each rectifier in the Remote Power Supply Rack Shelf.
When a rectifier is on, the OFF and ON buttons are flush with the front plate (A). When a
rectifier is off, the ON side of the switch extends beyond the front plate (B).
As the wall is powering on, light flickers on the tiles.
3. Wait for 3-5 minutes after powering on the rectifiers.
4. Turn on the controller.
a) On the rear of the controller, turn the power switch to On.
b) On the front of the controller, press the Power button.
Powering off the array
Turn off each component in the array in the order below.
1. Turn off the controller.
