RS-232C Commands
This section describes how to control the power and OSD menus using recommended standard-232C.
RS-232C Command Format
Recommended standard-232C commands use the following format:
[STX] [IDT] [TYPE] [CMD] ([VALUE]
or
[REPLY]) [ETX]
For example,
Variable No. of Bytes Description
STX
1 Starting byte. Value equals 07.
IDT
1 00 (Hex Num) for broadcast mode (no announcing, only for Video Wall), 01~19 (Hex
Num) for single control mode.
TYPE
1 Specifies the type of command:
• 00: return to host (from LCD panel)
• 01: read/action
• 02: write
CMD
3 Specifies the command.

VALUE
1 Specifies the command’s parameter setting.
REPLY
1 Provides the response returned by the LCD panel.
ETX
1 Ending byte. Value equals 08.
