Care and Cleaning

This section provides care and cleaning instructions for the LCD panel FHD551-W.

Clean the LCD Panel Screen

To remove accumulated dust, lightly wipe the surface of the LCD panel with a soft clean cloth. 

To remove dirt, gently wipe the surface with a soft clean cloth that is dampened with water or a non-
ammonia based glass cleaner.

To remove water spots, gently wipe the surface with a soft clean cloth that is dampened with a 3:1 
water and household vinegar solution.

Clean the LCD Panel Cabinet

Wipe the LCD panel cabinet using a soft cloth that is dampened with a mild liquid dish soap.

Clean the Power Cord

Power cord dust build-up can lead to fire or electrical shock. At regular intervals, remove the power 
plug from the outlet and clean off the dust.

Electrical shock hazard! Always turn the power off and disconnect all power sources from the 
LCD panel before servicing.

• Do not use abrasive cleaners on the LCD panel.
• Do not scratch or hit the LCD panel with hard objects such as fingernails or jewelry.
